This is a University assignment called ‘Apps for Good’. The aim for this topic was to design an app that improves a person’s life. Aria is a music producing software that helps teenagers put their feelings and experiences into making music. During teenage years it is important to have something to be able to express yourself on or occupy your mind in torrid times. As Aria is a mobile app, it is easily accessible by the modern generation of teenagers and young adults. There are also features in the app that help struggling teenagers in the Aria community.
This project helped me understand User Interface and User Experience in graphic design, and the impact is has on a brand’s website or app.
UX & UI.
The aim was to keep the UI (User Interface) clean and simple, with photographic elements to give the app a more mature and premium look. The aim of the app is to be an easy to use music production software. Programs made by Apple, for example, are difficult to use and overwhelming for beginners; so making an easy and relaxing UX (User Experience) will make it easier for my demographic to connect with the app.
